The plot is situated on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. The main house with panoramic glazing is located at the highest points of the terrain; its main views face the sandy strip of the northern beach with ancient pine trees and eolian dunes. The initial data for the future garden required a careful approach to preserving the existing variety of plant species and to selecting design green compositions, as well as structural and engineering solutions.
The architecture of the main house sets the overall mood of the garden.
It is important to emphasize the scale of the plot and reveal the main view of the coastline of the Gulf of Finland, so in front of the main house there is an emerald natural carpet of lawn grasses. Passing the slight difference in elevation along the steps in the fireplace area, we are transported to the forested area of the garden with ancient pine trees.
The cozy and functional terrace of the main house is one of the main features of a good garden. The comfortable sofa area serves as a cozy place for the Owner’s family to spend time throughout the warm season: from the first morning cups of coffee in the spring sunshine to gatherings with friends on autumn evenings.
The main walking route through the owner’s garden passes through the main functional areas of landscape improvement and ends at the bay coast. A small section of the walking route runs through the ecological quiet zone of the protected forest.
